China Fleet's Jack at 70 was the surprise package and Tony had to work hard to get the better of him. Reigning 3x O60 Cornish Champ Dave was unable to make it this year leaving the door wide open for the others. Russ and Tony know each other really well on court and off, and a good battle was anticipated. Tony got off to a good start in the main final winning 15-6 but sadly tore a calf muscle at 1-1 in the 2nd forcing him to RETIRE. Russ looked good on court, fit and combative again, and became Cornwall's newest Over 60s CHAMPION - Well done!
