Smithy V Mego took place on Sunday as rumour had it that the Truro Chairman got lost in Plymouth doing his Christmas shopping on Saturday. Fake news though - otherwise occupied doing good deeds!!! Dave and Carl did battle in their semi at midday with the NQY NOB being a bit too strong for the Truro club's chairman. In the main final Nige played a steady length game against Carl which seemed to do the trick! Carl was on court probably more than anyone over the weekend and looked in need of a bit of R & R and a few cold beers! Great match though! It was Nigel's first county trophy having relocated across the border to the superior county! Expect more though from Mr Fit!
