| Report: | Falmouth arrived having lost the number 1, pushing players up and bringing in John Ross, who proved a very tricky opponent for young Taron, suffering from a school bug and off his sick bed to play. John’s excellent drops and serving had Taron in difficulties, losing the first two games before a match winning fight back occurred to take the match 3-2. Gordon Mackie was toe to toe with Sam in the first game who then pulled away to win the match comfortably 3-0. Tim Poole played his best match of the season so far, using his great hold and volley boasts to give Billy a good battle. It was Billy’s decisive hard hitting game that brought him through at decisive moments, winning 3-2 in a tightly fought match. Gordon Benbow beat David 15-10 in the first before David took control of the T and went 13-8 up in the second. A massive fight back saw Gordon take the second 15-13 and comfortably win the third Eight games a piece and on the count back Pz2 sneaked it by four points, 203 v199
