| Report: | A cold night at the Ben Ainslie!! Matt started the evening promising a resurgence…which started well, but a returning Steve Dicko was too strong and managed to keep Matt at bay for a 3-1 win for Truro.
Tatters started slowly against a hard to pass Newbs…but Adam’s fitness and retrieving started to yield results…pushing Tim into errors…Newbs steadied the ship and got the 3-1 win.
Gav and Al had a fast paced hard hitting game, an on form Al easing past Gav who struggled on the cold court, 0-3 for Truro.
A sick boy Phil turned up in an ambulance in order to fulfil the fixture and keep everyone else down the order. Owen was too strong for the wheezing hospital case that was Phil and cruised to a 3-0 win.
Truro won 15-2
Spoons burgers, beers, rattler, Heineken zeros and a coffee were enjoyed… 99p Ruddles was left in the pump. |
