Report

Report:
The first game was between two up and coming youngsters, Joe and Taron. Joe started slow but dug deep and just took first game 15-13!!
Joe upped a gear in the second and raced into a 13-5 lead but taron fought back well with a lengthy run of points and at 14 each it was anyone's. Joe focused and took the game 16-14
Joe and taron both gave their all in the third with some exciting and long rallies, it went to the wire with Joe taking the third 16-14 and a well deserved 3 love win.
Lucas vs Adrian up next, youth vs experience!
Lucas looked focused from the start and maintained it throughout the game, racing to a 15-5 win in the first.
Adrian upped his game in the second with some nice boasts and looked like he was going to take it, but lucas refocused and took the game 15-11
A tiring Adrian and a consistent lucas resulted in lucas taking the third for the second 3 love game of the evening.
Myles v Ed
Another young guns battle. Some great rallies with myles hitting good length and width and ed with a nice short game, myles taking the first game 15-11
Myles continued the momentum and looked very sharp in the second, moving Ed around the court well taking the second game 15-6
Myles started where he left off and a combination of consistent hitting and good shot selection and some errors creeping in from Ed meant myles took the third 15-5 for another excellent 3 love win.
Lewis vs Ian
In the second match up of youth v experience of the evening, It was entertaining from the off, Ians blend of racket craft vs lewis high tempo playing made for a good match to watch. Lewis started like a train and took the first 15-4. The second was a different affair with Ian mixing it up on the serve and diving around the court like a teenager. Lewis ensured the rallies went on by constantly refusing to drop with Ian stranded at the back of the court! Lewis took the game 15-7 with the third game taking the same pattern to seal a 3 love win and team Js very first clean sweep
Thanks to penzance for a good evening of squash played in good spirits, see you in the the return.
