| Report: | PZ 2 welcomed Bude 2 to the irst game of the new season.. Gareth came in at no 4 and put a good fight pushing Rory to a couple tight games . Taron at 4 competed really well aganist a very atrong Mark and we had some great long rallies. Mark just had to many answers for young Taron although he can be proud of his performance.. No 2 the evergreen and youthful Tim coming off a gentle cricket season found the going tough aganist Nick and ran out of steam midway through each game. No 1 young Ed played a very fit and hard hitting Jago. The first match was a close encounter but Jago was to strong for Ed on the evening.. A strong Bude 2 went home with all the points. Thanks to Phil for a great Curry.. |
