| Report: | Truro Team J welcomed Bodmin for their first match of the season. A great night of squash to start the season, played in great spirit. A wonderful start for the junior team
Joe kicked things off against Martin and started with a focus, getting himself 2-1 with some controlled squash. But as the game went on Martins experience told and despite Joe battling well, Martin took the last two games 15-9 to win in 5.
Lucas played Matt and, like Joe, started well and looked like he meant business, racing into a 2 game lead. Lucas started to lose focus and despite a late rally matt took the next three games to win in 5.
Myles was up next against Mike and went 2 games up with some great hitting, edging the second game 18-16 with some lumg busting rallies. Myles took the 3rd game comfortably with a bagel game, well done myles!
The final game saw Lewis play Will. Lewis played with control and temp, controlling the play and moved will around the court well, taking the match with a 3 love win.
The boys look forward to the return fixture at Bodmin. |
