| Report: | A competitive 2-2 ding-dong match with our old rivals Tr4.
Katrina making her way back following injuries battled away vs our new club player Garry who's recently moved down to Falmouth, but Garry is getting back into Squash and improving every match, applied too much pressure and secured a 3-0 win.
Second up was a tight match between Alex and Jonny, the latter managing to make the best of his reach and once settled in was too much for Alex.
I played John, who also took a game to get used to the court, once up and running made for two very close games which both went to tie break, not quite sure how I won.
Finally an energetic match between a very fit Matt vs Henry who was clinical and at times sat happily on the T sending matt around chasing the ball, a surprise dominant third game by Matt created hope of a 5 setter, but Henry regained composure and saw out the match (Matt serving out on match ball).
Pizza's followed and all in all an enjoyable sociable competitive match. |
