| Report: | A great evening of squash to kick off 2023 with the boys from Falmouth.
Tambo the Ambo making a hasty escape to the in-laws after a lesson in cold court drop shots from Matt ;)
Next on was Burnelli, resplendent in his Emma Radacanu Tennis skirt. A VERY close match between the gaffer and David was filled with ups and downs - not least David serving out on matchball...something he wont forget for a while....and we wont let him :-)
Tatters, fresh from a birthday party and day off playing in the snow, must have become snow blind as he couldnt buy a length for love nor money in the first game - Huw dominating the T. Things for Adam got a little better, with some monster rallies to bring it back to 1-2 - but it was Huws night and a hard fought 4th game went to the wire - Huw winning out.
Harry (Wetherspoons) Cobley vs Tom Jay was another back and forth match with some excellent retrieving from both. Time was running out on the courts as the fifth game went to and fro, Tom just pipping Harry to the win.
A great night of close squash, steaks, burgers and gammon. Harry doubled his money on the fruit machine so his fees go up next week and the entertain had way too many beers and the ambulance called.
