Report: | Cheers for Bude for making the long trip down, and drinking the bar dry! A bigger takings than the infamous new years eve Jonny and Huw lock-in. Did that actually happen?
First up, Dave played a great game to dispatch Nick 3-0. A few drops were super (a few awry), but his tight play and boasts won him the match.
Playing second was the 1st string game of myself and Ali (Ali wanted to get the beers in early!). I controlled the first 2 games but got a bit complaisant in the 3rd coupled with some good shots from Ali. I just snuck it 15-13. Shame Fin couldn't have made the trip, but he's on a 4 week hangover I believe.
The runner Tom J (Rob doesn't like runners) took the Bude talisman to a 5 setter. Taking the 5th with some good length and tight drops. I think Rob's legs ran out after the 1st set so he did well to take it to 5. Tom J is back on winning form.
The final game was Dr Tom and Robin. Robin made a strong case for moving up the playing order with a great win in 4 sets. Deceptive drops and getting back pretty much every ball helped. Tom will be back though, he wasn't quite his usual self on the court tonight.
Cheers to Jonny and 5 Degrees for the apres squash pizzas and the supporters (Christian/Martin/Huw/Billy/random students).

Away Report: | BUDE need their flying Fin! We all wanted a Matt v Fin showdown! Boo-hoo! Looks like Rob must be fit again as a 5 setter is not his preferred score line! A fine win for Robin on the road! So BUDE drank the bar dry and Ali ate all the burgers at Fraddon on the way back!! |

Notes: | Question whether the lock in happened and is this against county rules? |
