| Report: | Second double match night at Falmouth in a week.
Bude boys on good form, first match was a ding dong between Chris and Huw. Good 5 setter to get the evening going.
Second up was Will vs Rob, Rob's long arms seemingly able to cover the whole court. Will has made progress but Rob's unsettling play got the better of him.
Then it was Billy vs Robin, Billy is another player progressing but Robin was just too tight, game points for Billy at the end up Robin closed out the match.
Last on Alan vs Ali, very energetic match, lots of running. Good start by Alan but Ali was a good match and put the pressure on and ended up winning.
Onto the bar, with a Ploy Thai buffet which went down well. With the second match on, the atmosphere was great. A good county squash evening. |

| Notes: | Double headers at Falmouth are some of the best evenings of competitive squash in the entire county. Excellent hosting by the famous club as usual but a shame the two home teams lost. It was noted that the walls became very damp on crt 2 (Truro have the same problem). Hope there’s a solution to it. I delivered to your Club Chairman two vinyl tin stickers from Cornwall Squash and I’m looking forward to seeing them next time I’m down. |
