Report: | A very depleted Fal3 this evening with a number of injuries and absences notably Pete who pulled out late. Top match was undoubtedly Jules v Huw and another exhausting high octane 5 setter which the stamina blessed Truro #1 did enough in the 5th to secure the W. First on though were the #3s which looked like an upset was on the cards as Will stormed into a confident 1-0 lead. Gary then changed tactics upping the pace considerably and playing deeper into the corners thereby rushing Will into mistakes. Will did do a superb ‘Hatchy-esque’ dive at one point - very entertaining! Gary took the next three but might have a harder time of it next time these two meet as Will looks to be improving game by game in his debut season. The Master looked sluggish in the early exchanges with hard-hitting Billy but you could almost hear his cogs turning as he worked out suitable tactics to fine tune his way to a 3-zip. Billy though is a much better player than the last time I saw him play and will be better still when he develops a confident drop. Disappointment of the evening was not seeing Katrina play but the walkover still leaves her the only unbeaten TR4 player with 4 from 4! Get well soon Pete and speedy recovery Christian! |

Notes: | Truro stay top after playing all their matches. It’s disappointing that postponements give a confusing picture of the division. Full marks to Huw for keeping the fixture alive! |
