| Report: | Enjoyable evening catching up with the Bodmin boys. First up was the mighty Peter D Keam vs the Batte man. Cracking competitive match, intense and very close as the scores show. Great sportsmanship from both. The definition of what county league matches are all about. (Mikes kids narrowly avoided being drafted into the team and were showing good ability playing each other on a spare court - won't be long before they're playing for the team) Next up Billy vs Martin, a few close games, with Billy able to notch up a debut win for the season. After losing my matches so farm I came into the match determined to play better and claimed my first win of the season.
Bodmin were only able to field three players, I understand others are playing at Bodmin but not ready to participate in the matches, hopefully they can be tempted to play soon. A few made it to the bar after. |
