| Report: | County leagues are back!
A juicy derby to get the leagues going again.
Gary was his usual clinical self and dispatched debutant Will. A slimmer streamlined Si Tai played a strong match against Billy. Dave vs Pete was tight with some decent rallies.
Julian and myself's match was an intense match with both players chasing down everything, was a great example of a county league match and what we have missed in a last 18 months.
Everyone was grateful to get matches going again and the atmosphere in the bar afterwards was great, with players catching up.
Pleased the leagues are back. |

| Notes: | Thanks Huw! TR4 put out a strong 4 against the old enemy and Huw v Julian’s 19-17 first game must have been a cracker! The Truro man is a different beast now and may well end up the #1 to beat in Div 2! I can’t explain Dave’s fine win given the number of rings on his trunk but whatever he’s taking I want some! Great to see Pete back to a real sport - all that goalkeeping malarkey can’t be good for him! The mean and lean Si Tai is also a different beast - I’m surprised he didn’t run there and back as well. Sorry Billy! Hello Will and sorry about having to play Gary. CCSRA are investigating whether we can afford a translator to accompany Gary! Perhaps it’s better we don’t know what he’s saying? TR4 touted as whipping boys - nah! |
