Report: | Some good, tight matches. Dave managed to get his first win of the season. Tom and Tony's match looked like an epic! Katrina is showing some solid form. Shame I was away and couldn't attend. Well done all. |

Away Report: | With Matt away helping out with Truro School’s KS3 side at Epson College in Surrey (they did qualify coming second), on paper this looked like a good prospect for TR4. However, with Dave and Si out also it was evident it was going to be close. Katrina is the stand out player for us now and we’re always confident Julian can win via a long drawn-out 3-2 most of the time! His game with Tom started well but with the walls dampening it became shambolic at times - a shame! Tom J is vastly improved, young and fit, and Tony is vastly older, slower and often crocked - well played Tom but I loved the look on your face after that corkscrew into the backhand corner I did 😂 Well done Dave against Gary with your first win and Sam shouldn’t be too despondent as no-one has managed to subdue Katrina 🔥 this season so far! Great apres squash banter and brilliant to see the club buzzing with the double header! See you after Christmas! |

Notes: | A great shame that the walls became wet which rather spoilt the climax to the evening which was Tom v Julian. I delivered two CCSRA vinyl tin stickers to the club. I hope they are put in a prominent place, both tins on the two ‘back’ crts being free of advertising. I can’t ever remember seeing any advertising on them in my 40 yr association with Falmouth Club. |
