| Report: | Cracking evening at Falmouth. Another double match night, with Fal2 vs Bude on the other court.
Nigel and I started the match off, with some big rallies and a competitive match.
Billy and Tim had a couple of close games, good to have Tim back playing regularly after a couple of years out, he retrieving particularly well, Billy unlucky not to get a game.
Match of the night was Alan vs Nathan, this see-sawed, with Alan going two up before Nathan pulling it back for a win.
Finally a subdued Peter D Keam, played Hatchy. A trademark Hatchy dive/fall took some skin off his wrist. I think there was a distinctive racketball style play going on, the match got tighter with Pete unlucky not to take it to four.
After it was onto the bar, with the wood burner going, some footy on in the background and a Ploy Thai buffet for 16 (brilliantly organised by Jonny Newton). A fitting end to the phoenix (half?) season.
