| Report: | Well, last division 1 team match with the potential for Team 3 to win the league. Alas it was not to be, Team 1 securing the title and Team 3 securing 2nd place ahead of Falmouth.
A great match with Tim taking the honours vs Joe. Rory vs Louis did not disappoint with Louis taking the match after some great games - Rory has improved match on match this season - rather like a fine wine!!! Expecting great things from him next season. Pete W vs Neil and Tim S vs George both equally entertained - closely contested games but eventually the points went to Neil & George.
A great evening with some good home support and thank you to Clare for the fine dining.

| Notes: | A fitting hard-fought tussle and climax to the Autumn with the top two going head-to-head and no presents on offer in any of the four rubbers! Neil’s TR1 predictably took the honours on the evening and booked their place at the end of season play-off in April. As County Chairman I am delighted we got through this first league without any interruptions caused by you-know-what! I’m delighted for everyone concerned and would like to express our thanks to all the players and clubs for making it happen. Best wishes for the season and see you all in the new year. TR1 will be the top target on everyone’s list but Neil and his charges will love the challenge! PS if they win the Spring League they won’t need a play-off! |
