| Report: | Falmouth hosted competitive action against Truro3. With the Falmouth team having had a couple of weeks off,
they turned up refreshed and confident of putting in a decent performance.
Tom Jay played his first match of the season for Falmouth 1 against an experienced number 4 in Tim May. With an overall points score of 70-71.... this one was close. Edge of the seat stuff at times. Well played to both.
Matt, who was quote 'out of sorts' a few weeks back made the most of his time away from league squash to regroup. He turned up last night with great focus and energy to his game. Nice game to watch...performance of the night.
Didnt see much of Martin vs Joel as I was off collecting 15 pizzas. Had (Fal2 vs Fal3) playing as well. Martin's time ON the court & OFF the booze is getting him fitter and thats showing in his perfomances. Joels time OFF the court and (potentially) ON the booze wouldnt have been helping his cause to knotch another Cornish League win.
Rory & Jonny played at 1 and fought out a decent 3 games. Rorys getting better week by week and is back enjoying his squash. Jonny also feeling better after a few weeks off the court.
