| Notes: | A good smash and grab win by the Budists on the road with a line up to strike fear into the hearts of the rest of us! Tremaine is back but not firing on all cylinders, I suspect, but a good win for Alex nonetheless! He earned it with the 3-2! Finn is obviously fine tuning his fitness and skills on court and looking much improved. A season ago I’d have bet on Huw any day of the day but winning here and against Julian at Truro would point to a ‘top dog showdown’ versus Nigel at BUDE on the final day of the season. Hard to call at the moment but Finn is young enough to improve further in 6 weeks!!! No Rob too!?!? Chris at 4 is frightening and Ali at 3 would get the knees shaking! Pete must have played well but I suspect Ali needed to concentrate to get over the line! Look at the points ancc D.C. you’ll conclude it must have been a great match!!! Well this away win will certainly bolster Bude’s ambitions to become champions again. Huw’s team are obviously missing Matt! |
