| Notes: | The Invincibles suffer their first defeat of the season. The Pirates will be celebrating this one, a most impressive victory indeed and without the Flying Hatch as well! Obviously without Fin (at home doing his homework) and Tremaine (in NZ doing Batwatch) Rob’s charges are not the same. Well done to Nick for accepting the challenge of travelling to the other side on this elongated county to help his team mates out. Nigel, the new Pirate #1, will be hard to beat and may well be contender for the best player in the division award.....if he can beat the current top dog Huw!?! Ali will relish a second go at yhe left-hander back at BUDE but Chris still marches on! A fine wine against Tim on his home ‘killing fields’ court! Quinny will be over the moon with his result v Rob. Quite a landmark victory, I’d say! Adrian ‘The Missile’ Cruse will be a tough one to beat at four. I can’t see many loses there especially at PZ! So we kick off the Spring League with a dazzling result. I think it’s going to be a roller coaster! |
