TR3 were without some of their stronger players but Neil’s men didn’t take prisoners in this first derby match of the new campaign! Shot on sight by the looks of things with only Tim at #1 able to salvage any respectability by taking the third. Well done to Jon for shoring up the defences, or trying to! I’ll bet Jon didn’t think he’d have to deputise quite so soon but great to see him back on crt with his trusty weapon!! If TR3 really want to mount a serious challenge for the title this season they’ll have to have their big guns out consistently. I expect the NQY teams will be delighted with this early stumble and 14 pts dropped is already a gap to make up on with 11 matches left!?!
