| Report: | Its always a close contest between these 2 teams and this was no exception. First up Wayne keen to avenge a previous loss to Matt showed all his quick reactions and tighter play to overcome the ever threat of Matts obvious fitness and reactions. Next up Tim maintained great composure to overcome the tricky and awkward Pete with all his antics!
Nigel continues to be a great asset to the Pirates still getting back to his obvious high standard of agility and fitness to finally wear down Alex who was always going to put up a strong physical presence on court.. Finally Huw prooved why he is the Falmouth 1 string not allowing Ian to get into his stride albeit the pressure was off Ian the fixture having already been won. The return fixture will be a mouth watering encounter

| Notes: | A clash of the Titans! Well almost! Add to the Titans list the Budists who comfortably put title pretenders TR4 to the sword at Fortress Bude last night! Pizzas were great though! Huw is most defo vying for Div2's 'top dog #1' position alongside Tremaine in my view - their encounter will be mouth watering on 24th Oct. and just before T flies south to warmer climes! Fal3 and PZ have strength in depth so both will be in the mix come December! Nigel remains unbeaten in 3 in his comeback season and is arguably 'top dog #2' in Div2 at the moment - fine win v the much improved 'Run Alex, Run'! Huw v Hatchy went out on the county FB page (and the world) but the 'likes' count could do with a few more! I guess fitness showed in the end! Huw remains unbeaten in his Div2 outings! Peter did well to bag the second against the PZ crt specialist Tim who low drives and skid boasts like no other (best #3 tag?). Antics? Don't like the sound of that.....and Quinny looks like he's on a really steep improvement curve if he can outrun and outplay the impressive Matt who obviously crashed back down to earth after reaching the giddy heights of getting one over yours truly! PZ could do it like Fal3, but unbeaten Bude are the best bet at the mo. It's all good fun really........
