Report

Report:I was away for this one but it looks like there was some good action on court. I’m pretty certain this was a 3rd win for the Dragons and a first away from home. Plenty of Christmas cheer for the visitors then and more alarmingly a fourth straight defeat in a row for Gaza’s all stars, a dramatic fall from grace after being in contention for the title at the midway point. Mike ended his Autumn League outings strongly with another fine win over Deon who himself will only get better with more games under his belt after returner to squash following a break at uni. Dave, The Master, v Andy perhaps underlined the necessity to have winning shots over running ability. Robbo is bouncing back from injury #1,376 with confidence and will be miffed he didn’t nick this one (he’s also good at real nicks). Fine win for the rapidly improving Matt who always produces a gritty display. Si Taimenator will rue the loss of the 2nd, the tightest single game of the evening at 17-19, but and will need a few winning hits over the break to restore confidence. Good win for Tom who must have kept the error count in more control than of late; a morale boosting W! In all a good evening by all accounts. Merry Christmas to you all and see you in the 2nd week of January.

Administrator Notes

Notes:Dragons make it win #3 and first on the road and comfortably avoid the wooden spoon.
Tr4 slump from 2nd to 4th with winless 4-match streak.
Pirates have a great chance of snatching R/U from Fal3 if they beat Oli’s Fal2 comfortably.
Champions BUDE visit Falmouth to take on the Huwligans in their last match. Will it be a 10th successive win or will Fal3 want to put one over the seemingly ‘invincibles’?
Div2 is certainly getting stronger and with 12 matches instead of 10 next year it’s going to be competitive and unpredictable, in my view.
