Report

Report:Penzance were too strong for Bodmin 2. Fairly short match with all games ending 3-0, mostly in Penzance's favour, with the exception of Martin who won at 4 string. Martin also came out on top of the usual post match bar room banter! Not exactly looking forward to the rematch on the renowned cold Pirate's home court!

Away Report

Away Report:'Pirates again able to field Ian Nigel and Tim which made a strong Penzance side a shame Gareth couldn''t assist in the result. Whilst Gareth started well nearly securing the first game then found Martins reach difficult to get past Tim started extremely well and a familiar mix of boasts and drives took Andy a couple of games to adjust and read. Nigel enjoying his squash proved too fit and the left hander dominated well albeit Darren fought well and regularly showed how Nigel couldn''t afford to take his foot off the gas. Ian despite nursing a foot injury mixed his serve and game well to frustrate Mike and again whilst Ian kept his nose and body in front couldn''t afford to slack with Mike hot on his heels. In true Pirate style we were first to the bar snapping up the last 4 bargain steaks at Wetherspoons. Topped off with the bar banter a very enjoyable night'

Administrator Notes

Notes:The Pirates recorded a fine win on the road at Bodmin Dragons. At 1,2 and 3 they look formidable. I guess this 3-zip for Hatchy means he’s off the beer and fit again! Good W for Martin who had bragging rights over his team mates! Next up for the PZs, a home match v the Huwligans (Fal3) followed by TR4 at TRHQ. We’ll know in the next few weeks how serious their chances are!?! The Dragons go back to Falmouth hoping for more than they got last time. Oli’s men will be up for this one! Great reports you two - Gareth, can you make ‘Captain of the Season’ three years running?
