Report: | A closer tie than the scoreline suggests. While Ali was solid in every respect and secured a convincing win at 4, Chris did his best to lose his 2nd game to the tenacious and agile Tom, but eventually found enough unorthodox shots to get over the line. Rob faced a battle at 2 against a significantly improved Christian and had to dig in to take the match 3-1. At 1, in what is fast becoming his signature move, Fin let his mind wander (probably to the Chelsea score) and made a series of woeful errors when comfortably ahead in the first game. He finally shook himself alert to overcome the ever-competitive Oli (and some atrocious home team marking), before stepping it up to take the next two games comfortably. |

Notes: | Good Bude win moving them to the top of the table with their next match this Thursday against Gaza’s TR4. A top of the table clash! Not sure TR4 can muster their strongest four either!?! Meanwhile, Fal2 will find it easier going at Tr5 but may not have it all their own way if the youngsters perform well. Shame Fin supports Chelsea, never mind! |
