Notes: | Firm intentions of Div2 glory for the home side with their top two in less than tip-top condition but still managing the W. Julian beating Mike was quite a surprise given that I only watched the first and asked for my money back. Dave has the long drive up to Nottingham to play in the Nationals so let’s hope he is better by then. Si did particularly well to beat Martin who has many tricky shots especially overhead. Gaza, the main man, turned it around nicely against the stylish Tom just as his home team Newcastle must in the Premiership (not sure why I wrote that!). Yes, I know why. It’s that Geordie attitude that every season is a battle against relegation! Home court advantage played a large part in this victory which pushes TR4 back up with the contenders but I doubt whether they’ll be quite so jubilant next week on the late night drive back down the Atlantic Highway from fortress Bude. My money is on a home win..... |
