| Report: | A fantastic night for Bodmin and a fantastic night for squash! Mike on court first seeking revenge from the county champs took the first W of the night with his fourth five setter in as many matches! 14-14 in the decider proved how the match could of gone either way.
Harry next against one of Huw’s new desciples Matt. Another great match with Harry’s agility and speed met with Matt’s tight shot play and ripping boasts. Another match which went 14-14 in the decider with Harry edging it which was a massive confidence booster!
I enjoyed my match against Ali who made me work hard for the second set. Experience pulled through in the end. I may now retire to keep my winning streak in tact!
Finally Andy played Sam in a match full of quality with both players really showing outstanding levels of squash. Andy took the W with his best performance of the season but Sam is definitely one to watch for the rest of the division and will be difficult for any opponent.
Great 15 points for Bodmin and the whole night was enjoyable for all. Looking forward to trying to repeat this result on the away leg! |

| Notes: | What a great result for the Dragons against Huw’s much fancied Fal3. Mike will be as cookahoop to get those last two points as Huw will be flabbergasted to have not scored them himself, and the same for Harry v Matt. Phew! Two last gasp wins for the Dragons! No wonder the visitors didn’t get back to Falmouth until the wee small hours! A great match! I’ll certainly cast a keen eye over the return fixture’s result! |
