| Notes: | So Chris got sweet revenge over Phil after last Sunday’s epic SF in the County Closed. I’m sure it was a great match. Max did well to snatch the third v Mark who is amongst the most stylish of our league players and must be the strongest no2 if Phil keeps turning out for the NOBs. Max has a big win in him soon for sure, fingers crossed! It’s a shame a 4th Slayer player couldn’t be found given the large squad in the 2nd team but we’re glad the fixture went ahead. Suddenly it’s all looking good for NQY1! Mid-table with a game in hand and the possibility of going 2nd next week, they must be rubbing their hands! Everyone expected NQY1 to do that. What a difference a strong player makes! Phil has a spanner in his kit bag - needed it after serving out on match ball in the county final at the weekend - and we love having him in our league, and I’m reliably told Jamie is due back soon? Bet Priemy can’t wait! It’s hotting up.... |
