| Report: | High standard squash with good crowd showing support in falmouth. Christian up against Carl 'Sun bed' Megson, Christian looked like he was struggling but the rhino gathered momentum and was then upstoppable. Oli up against Andy was tough to watch, Andy's years of experience showed through and he won 3 -0. Matt up against Matt, was tiring squash which went to 5 games. The younger Matt clinched it. Finally the big hitters, the ball was bouncing like a red dot and the rallies were good to watch, Jonny had a painful ankle to start but battled on but unfortunately still lost. Good night of squash! |

| Notes: | A cracker! This result flags up what a great league we have in Cornwall. The Ones certainly are brilliant to watch and anyone who plays Andy for the first time deserves a medal for effort alone! We've all been there, dizzy, bewildered, destroyed! CHRISTIAN THOMAS must be taking something because he's playing his best squash ever! No wonder he's CORNWALL'S PLAYER OF THE MONTH for January! Keep it up, Rhino! Good to see Carl back, suntan and all, and the two Matts' 5th game must have had that partisan home crowd rocking!!! What a change, NQY1 flying high in 2nd and NQY1, P2 L2, still yet to get their Spring League under way! Falmouth really need Martin back and soon..... |
