Report: | Another 15-0 defeat. Falmouth 1 are having a tough season and have now had two 15-0 defeats in a row.
To summarise the match; a good start was made by Tom Jay, he put in a great performance and almost clinched the first game. But Henry seems to have a few tidy shots which helped him win.
Alex was up next against Dave "Inhaler style drug doping" Priem. Alex seem to struggle with his length and ended up getting Priemed (We have all been there Alex).
I played Jamie. It turns out he is quite good. And I was just pleased he didnt get a bagle. A good motivator moving forward though.
Martin on last vs Matt Harford. It was another loss but martin looked strong despite recent injury and will soon by back to top form.
You will please to know Falmouth should be back to full team from next week, with Jonny also hoping to be ok to play post injury. We still have Newquay away and Truro 2 home & away, so plenty of time to get some points back on the board. And maybe even win a match! Watch out Bodmin, we are on your tail |

Notes: | Great report, Matt, and with news of the returning wounded the end of season looks like it might turn into quite a bun fight! You and Bodmin Slayers are exactly 30 pts apart while Fal1 have 3 left and they have just the tough trip to TR1 to pick up points. It could be quite exciting all told and I wish both teams the best of good fortune as you've both had little so far! Squeaky bum time, relegation dogfight, no-one is too good to go down...and all those phrases trip off the tongue, BUT it's not over until the fat lady sings!!! Just to add, the NYGs have had two straight 15 pointers this week - good form going into the end-of-season SHOOT OUT with reigning champs TR3! Thanks for holding the team together, Matt! Yes, Jamie ain't bad at all! |
