| Report: | Dave and Owen started the night off with some lovely squash being played by both players. Owen had the edge on Dave however and his high court pressure proved too much to handle.
Next up was Rhys and Louis where the pace was taken up a notch, so great rallies played from both players. Rhys is still yet to hit his 1st half form and when he does the win will not be far away. Looks played some lovely squash to take the win.
I (Max) was next on with Jack and was met with a gritty performance that saw Jack battle back from 2-0 down to take the W. (Am I going soft in my old age! 2 weeks in a row) a very mature performance from Jack with skills and court craft far beyond his years.
The final battle of the night was Chris and Tim. Chris ran out 3-0 but not without the usual gritty running and pick ups from Tim, making sure Chris didnt have it all his own way. In the end Chris was too much for Him and rescued some points for the Dragon slayers who were doning the new kits for the first time.
Hopefully they will bring better luck next time out against Newquay where we will be looking for some more points to add to the tally.

| Notes: | Great report, Max, and yes those TR2 Starlets are getting better each week!!! Good to hear all four matches were played in the right spirit and that the atmosphere was good. Please could you change your nominations as I note Phil T is listed for you as 2 but obviously went for the bigger contract at Newquay 1! They, of course, won last night v TR1 without a certain Mr Counter so move out of the danger zone with their first W. You'll have to put Dave E at 4 instead so the system knows he's a regular in your team. Cheers! |
