Report

Report: Fal1 5-12 Truro 1
***Some artitistic license may have been used to subtly enhance this report** The crowd was at least 10 deep at Western Terrace as Truro's superstars arrived. Missing their on-form 1st string, allegedly away enjoying log cabins and archery, Mr Counter Snr, long flowing locks and glistening rippled physique, was first on court against Falmouth debutant TJ. A blue arsed fly would have clocked less distance than Neil in a valiant but one sided affair dominated by the Navy boy.
Raz found time between his Shakespeare novels to treat me to a game, I could barely stop the lad talking between points but we soldiered on nevertheless to another one sided result.
Game of the night was Matt against the 6ft7 heavily tattooed Steve D. 5 games of athletic prowess left the crowd wondering if a cheeky pre-game dialysis session was the secret to a well earned victory? Upon winning Steve clenched his fist and roared 'Didn't I do well Gentlemen?' or something to that effect.
Finally the one and only Peter 'T' Keam set off at an astounding glacial pace against floor specialist Zef. Zef's company motto 'if you can walk over it, we' ll lay it' left the crowd nervous for what was to come next as he literally walked over Pete 3-0...

Administrator Notes

Notes:Superb report Tom! Really loved this one! Falmouth dipping into the transfer market with a shrewd buy in the form of Torpedo Tom might just be the deciding factor if Fal1 are to get out of gaol! With Martin back soon the great escape could be on! Neil had the displeasure of being Tom’s first victim which I’m sure will reverberate about the county by teatime tonight. I expect Zeph even managed to take short cuts to the ball through Pete’s legs! Ras making a Div1 debut is long overdue too and there aren’t many who would relish doing battle with the nippy teenager!!! Stevie D and Matt will always be a length game spectacle and great to watch! Next up for Falmouth, just a gentle run out against title favourites TR3. Ouch!
