| Report: | Burnells boys bowled into Falmouth, with their indelible mix of comedy and exhibition style squash. Two close match's to start with, particularly Tom vs Martin which could have gone both ways, an enjoyable match for all. Great to see Harry back with his unique wide swing, another close match which steady Peter managed to just get over the line. Matt and Mark were too strong for Alex and Huw closing out the matches without losing a game. The newquay boys stayed until the end, as ever, providing excellent entertainment. An enjoyable evenings squash. |

| Notes: | The NOBs always play hard, joke hard and no surprise it was an enjoyable evening. A tale of two halves again with the top order from NQY being just too strong. It’s a pleasure for us mere mortals of Div2 to be on crt with Mark and Matt no matter the stats! Great to see young Harry in action again and I suspect Pete might find the return match a bit harder though the Falmouth Plate Winner is unbeaten so far, I note! Tom v The Gaffa was a cracker to start the evening off - The Doc will be pleased with his return to team squash! There’s a long history of tight matches between these two clubs and great to see it continuing! |
