Report

Report:The Doc scored two of the matches adding a little extra detail to the normal score sheets, this included weather and tasting notes:-
Pete 'Destroyer' Keam 3-2 Mark 'Monster' Taylor
Weather - Overcast
Tasting notes
1-0 'Methodical'
1-1 'Ping Pong'
2-1 'Clinical'
2-2 'Reborn'
3-2 'The Struggle'
Mark is a great addition to the Tr5 team, with some great racket skills, following picking up a muscle strain, Mark managed to take it to a fifth. Entertaining match.
Huw 'OoOoOo The Funky..'Gibbon vs Adam 'Where's your Haira' O'Hara (Quoting the docs scoresheet).
Weather: Dark
Tasting notes:
1-0 'First taste of blood'
2-0 'Strikes Again'
3-0 'Serial Killer'
Big hitting Adam went close in the third but was undone at the front of the court.

Unfortunately only two matches had the extended detail scoresheets.

Chris Thomas put all is hard work and training together to get a very impressive 3-0 win.

Tom was too strong for a battling Richard.
Overall an enjoyable evenings squash.

Away Report

Away Report:A new line up for TR5 with a better average age as Tony was left at home! Mark is improving game by game and will surely bag a win soon! A great game v Pete and a relief for the ex-Truronian to get that 5th before heading south to warmer climes! Chris bagged his and boy does he deserve it with all the training he does. Adam will always find it tough at 1 and especially on the road. TR5 will regroup for the visit from Rob’s men next week. Thanks for excellent hosting and best home report I’ve read this season.

Administrator Notes

Notes:TR5 battle on regardless seeking that first win whilst Falmouth march on with another convincing Truro demolition. I love the report, Huw, and I only wish other captains made the effort. Great to see the reserves getting a run out and to hear it was an enjoyable night of squash. Sorry I couldn’t attend!
