| Report: | This match against the two promotion chasers was a keenly fought contest with Bodmin coming out on top. Chris and and Max (Lovely socks) were too strong for the NOBS 1 and 2 of Mark and Matt. Carl unfortunately had to retire after pulling a fetlock at the end of the first game. The Gaffer (Burnelli) lost a close match after being two down to making it all squared at 2-2 to lose 15-11 in the fifth. As always a good social after the games and the NOBS are looking forward to the return leg with our Scissors...... |

| Notes: | Max’s hairdo will be the talk of the county at this rate, the same for the Dragon’s new summer signing, a true Welsh dragon himself! Looks like Chris had too much for Mark and Max (+ locks) is starting the season in the fine form he had last time around. Hope Meggo’s fetlock is ok! The NOBs will need him next week for sure. Rhys is such a strong 3 and Mike too at 4 will be tough to beat so it’s looking ominous for the other teams in Div2! Mind you, it’s a funny old game! |
