Report: | An under strength Bude deserved this emphatic white wash win though TR5 did put in some good resistance. Great to see Mark improve week by week and Tremaine will be glad of a good win. Young Ben will only get better the more he plays and will have learnt a lot playing Ali. Anyone would! David made his debut too in this match and Chris just couldn’t find the heroic form of last week. Onwards and upwards..... |

Notes: | I would never have guessed this result! Full credit to Bude and their makeshift line up for a massive 15 pointer. Rob might be wondering if he can get his place back! Two debuts made so I am very pleased! Things are really happening at Truro School where Ben plays and good luck to them in the English Schools’ Competition which they have a strong chance of progressing to the finals in. Spirits won’t be dampened in the Tr5 camp though and I just hope they get a W in their remaining 5 matches. All eyes will be on their home tie v TR4 without any doubt. Bude are very strong at home but are probably just off the pace to trouble the Bodmin steam train and the NQY1 challenge! But this win puts them in 2nd and above NQY if only for a day, I guess. Ali deserves a mention: unbeaten thus far and rising fast up our county rankings - impressive! Chris is on song too this season. Some great matches ahead in the strongest Div2 in years, for sure! |
