| Report: | A far closer tie than the score suggests, and played in (mostly) great spirits as always. A fast-improving Robin had too much for Christian in a display of substance over style, while Fin woke up after a first game littered with unforced errors and turned the tables on Alex to record a solid 3-1 win. Rob vs Huw went the distance, with the home team captain’s fitness proving decisive in the end, but match of the night has to go to Chris vs Pete, who played a 3-2 thriller with the kind of competitive intensity that would put Serena Williams to shame :) |

| Notes: | A great report Rob and an equally good night for the home team against a stronger Fal2 outfit this season! An excellent W at 1 noted for the finely-tuned athlete, and I don't mean Tremaine! Fin woke up from his slumbers and Robin did really well against a rejuvenated Christian! Chris v Pete must have been a cracker - The Fal2 no3 is in fine form and undefeated after two MDs! Might be a different story for the return leg but it's a funny old game, as they say! |
