Notes: | Wow! Shame we don’t have Match of the Day for squash because this one had everything! A ‘must win’ fixture with only 1 pt separating the top two with just two matches remaining, a late sub pulling off a gargantuan upset (respect the Russ!) and a tipsy-turvy first string match as good as it gets down here! So pacesetters and the bookies’ favourites NQY2 get the 15 pts no-one predicted and look set to wrestle back the title from TR1 or is there a final twist in the tail? Down to the wire and defo SQUEAKY BUM TIME! What drama!!!!
Tr1 host a very depleted TR3 tonight - predicted 15 pts for Neil’s outfit.
Next week in the final round of matches, NQY go to PZ needing 15 again - banana skin? Super sub heroics again? In the last fixture TR3 host TR1 at Truro HQ and that match might very well go down to the last rubber Rory v George. George, we know, has a habit of pulling off last gasp great victories - Pawle Cup Final v Jonny!!! So, could the Autumn League go down to the last match of the lot??? Fingers chewed right down to the bone....... |
