Report: | A stark reminder of the benefits of youth and coaching as all 3 of the Truro young guns demonstrated. A strong effort by Adrian gave the Pirates hope with a 3/0 win. Despite Gordon giving Louis a tough match the game scores went to Truro. Demonstration of the night goes to Jack for a very composed performance which failed to allow Tim Poole to gain any momentum until the third game when it looked as if Pirate could sneak another game but it wasn't to be.
As ever Ian gave an entertaining performance with one dive Tom Daley would have been proud of. Hats off to Tim for helping Ian to his feet. Tims ball placing did cause Ian to visit all 4 corners of the court building an appetite for the Penzance Curry |

Away Report: | 'Very enjoyable night with perfect hosts and good quality competitive games across all 4 matches. Great experience for the Juniors as these matches are very different from their other Junior matches in a positive and developing way. ' |

Notes: | A good night by the sounds of it and those youngsters will be causing grief to many established players this year! Hatchy, there’s only one Hatchy, should be super fit after all that cycling from John O’Groats so there’s no excuse for landing on his a**e all the time! Shame about the Flying Hayden but Adrian took out Owen comfortably by the sounds of it. A sterner tests for the kids next week v NQY YGs! Expect you had a curry! Thanks Gareth, best skipper in Cornwall. |
