Report: | 13 pts when 15 was the target! That leaves NQY2 in the driving seat again after their 15 pts v TR3. Jack has obviously gone up a notch bagging a convincing win against George who hasn’t hit last year’s form yet this season. Stevie is looking very fit and just had too much for Owen. Zeph didn’t have to try that hard against Tony who stepped in for Louis and Jack tried really hard against Mark who replaced Neil. Sadly for TR1 this result means it’s NQY’s title to lose and few would bet against them getting the title winning maximum pts at PZ next Weds. TR1 have a stiffer contest on the last evening of the Spring League, away to TR3. |

Notes: | By far the best match this evening was young Jack v the stylishly unorthodox George. This is probably one of Jack’s best scalps to date and certainly the first of many. Breaking into the top 10 is the goal and we all wish him well in the British Junior Open, with Louis, in January. It is the world’s biggest junior tournament with 128 entry from all over the world in each category. Louis looks to be on track with his recovery from a groin strain too. Let’s wish our boys all the best in Birmingham. |
