| Notes: | A few hiccups with the system as we are unique here in Cornwall withyhe only knock out cup of its rye anywhere. It does fit like a glove to Cornish Squash with great matches all round in a points mean everything competition. Well done Truro for avoiding the banana skin of an away trip to in-form Bude. The Pawle Cup holders go straight to the final as ‘best winners’ while the Hine Plate holders face a tricky semi-final v the rejuvenated and promoted Pirates at a neutral venue. Pick of the matches was Fin v Neil, the youngster showing all his potential and class especially in the first game. Neil, however, has been around the block a few times so it looks like he reeled Fin in. Great matches in the other two cup fixtures too! What a night!!!! |
