Report: | The effervescent NOBS arrived in good spirits. All matches had the potential to go either way. The Matts' game was a close battle with Tamblyn motoring round and Waterton needing his experience to win. Mark has hit form and his confidence was obvious on court, he ground down Martin to get a good win. The NOBS were first at the club and last at the bar which made for a enjoyable evening. |

Notes: | The NOBs have a growing reputation as the the team who have the most fun on match nights, obviously at ease on court and in the bar especially away ones! Mark and Matt W must have wondered if Mego and Burnelli even showed up - fines galore, I expect! 10-7 means Fal1 have dropped 5 pts in their tussle with Tr1 for the second spot (as Tr1 are only 5 pts behind now in third); it also means the funsters of NQY1 have closed the gap with fellow relegation candidates Tr2 to within 15 pts and with two games to go anything can happen!! Talking of which Tr2 v NQY1 is the last match of the season......squeak! Squeak! Uncomfortable posterior squeak! I'm expecting the 'Huwligans' to do well in the Pawle Cup but where is Jonny when you need him and those low slung shorts? PS Great report Huw! |
