Report: | Both teams were missing their no.1's. With Rory granted Paternity leave... Congratulations to Rory and Leila for the arrival of their little boy.
Apart from Martin, Fal1 were outclassed and outgunned by the Pete's and Jon. Martin vs Joel was a very close contest with the decider finishing 19-17 to Martin. |

Away Report: | 'In Rory''s absence, we did him proud! Always good to hear great news and welcome to the world Leo Brickell. As Huw mentioned, both teams were under strength but TR3 are one of the few lucky teams to have a sizeable squad and ultimately, that was the difference. Hopefully, our return fixture on April 4th will have strong teams on either side. As far as the matches were concerned, Alex struggled against Jon but probably made a few too many unforced errors and didn''t do himself justice. Huw was competing well with Pete for the first 2 games but Pete has a knack of winning the crucial points. If Matt could have sneaked the 3rd against Simmo, things could of got interesting but Simmo is playing his best squash for 4 years....long may it last! The match of the night was between Martin and Joel but it only came to life in the 5th. Before that, neither player found any sort of rhythm and each game was littered with unforced errors. However, the quality of squash in the 5th was excellent and Martin sneaked it 19-17. Great night with the Falmouth boys....thanks for hosting us and see you soon!' |

Notes: | CONGRATS TO RORY & LEILA ON THEIR LITTLE BOY - WE'LL RESERVE A PLACE FOR HIM IN OUR JUNIOR SECTION AT TRURO (SORRY FALMOUTH!).
Re the match - TR3 Juggernaut powers on and it's a bit like Man City, just a question of time. Falmouth should enjoy their #2 seeding in the Cup and will have every chance if Ben can play. SUPER SATURDAY 28th APRIL - sorry, Rory, you'll be baby sitting! Just a joke.....
