| Report: | Team 2 were missing Tim and Zef, their normal seed 1 and 2. However, seeing as they finished as champions pre-Christmas they’ve already booked their place in the final. Stepping up to the top slots were Jack and Louis and once again, they did themselves proud against top opposition in Joel & Will. It’s great to see their rapid progression and the future is clearly bright. Tim Penney found Simmo to be just too good but don’t we all! It was great to see Chairman Tony having a good run out against Pete W. Another great night rounded off with Clare’s cottage pie! |

| Notes: | A great atmosphere at HQ but TR2 were under-strength and missing their two top players, Tim and Zef. Both Louis and Jack gave very good accounts of themselves against experienced players whilst 'experienced' subs Tony and Tim tried hard but found the going too tough against the two Peters. As this is the likely play-off Final in April let's hope TR2 can get back some of the form they showed to win the Autumn League. Apart from all that, Clare’s cottage pie was of excellent quality and most of which was consumed by Will! I'm sure he will mind me saying! As far as fines go I would suggest Rory for going on court in jeans and Simmo for not knowing there was such a thing as a play-off final! |
