| Notes: | Tim's Tr2 Starlets have another up and coming youngster in their ranks! Ben Thorpe at #4 string played a great game against the Tr1 reserve on the evening, Geordie Gazza who also doubles as the Tr4 skipper. It was a spirited comeback from 2 down for Ben but Gary just had too much in his locker at the end. Gary now has a 100% record in the league since Christmas and in both divisions - worth working it out! The other starlets, Jack and Louis, are improving so rapidly, and growing taller and stronger, that Stevie D and Neil will be glad they won when next season it may well be quite a different story! Match of the evening though was undoubtedly Tim v George. It was all George in the beginning, then it was all Tim but eventually the younger player got those all-important early volleys in to edge past a back in form Tim who must have been delighted with his performance! Good job the marker was PSL standard - all his calls were spot on, even if I say-so myself! A great evening of squash, so well supported and very sporting - thanks to all!!! |
