| Report: | A really fun night of squash in IQ!!
Max proved too sprightly for Rob - picking up Robs lengths and drops time after time.... the running is working - just need to stay uninjured!!
A fun game at 4 with Matt and Jon smashing the ball about in the first 2, Matt finding the accuracy required in the 3rd and 4th to overcome Jon.
Darren and Sam had a cracker of a first game - fast paced with loads of hard hitting and overhead smashes! The pace proved to be a little too quick for Sam with Darren managing to control the next 2 for a 3/0 win.
Last on came out the big guns! Martin telling everyone that he's never lost to Oscar before.....
Martin was quick out the gates and punishing Oscar with his ever present boasts 1mm above the tin!!
Oscar hit back with a grueling second game but Martin mustered a second wind for the third with some unbelievable retrievals and amazing rallies - it was really fun to watch! Martin ran out of legs however and Oscar came through for a 3-1 win.
Great venue, great squash and great company!! |
