| Report: | A competitive evening, with a return of the Fal2 vs Tr4 rivalry. An intriguing match between Tom and Lewis, going all the way. Tom running on fumes at the end, but managed to maintain his level of quality. Lewis very competitive, retrieving well.
Alex was his usual battling self, again bouncing off the walls. Daryl won the first, but turned his ankle late in the second and understandably couldn't continue, hopefully it won't be a long absence.
Myself and Jonny went at it, two lanky long armed gorillas, volleying everything. I got caught by a number of leisure centre boasts (8+). Jonny to his credit was 11-0 down in the third and pulled it back to 14-14. Three tight matches.
Tambo and Gerrit, upped the pace of the evening, it was like pinball. Hard to say what won the match, but Tambo's mighty fine athleticism certainly helped. Enjoying the return of the rivalty. |
