| Report: | Super match / Hatchy fired up v David - good battle with Hatchy edging the first two. Hatchy was tired in the third and David won that on easily. Could have gone to a fifth but Hatchy closed it out.
Neythan v Tom / both very hard hitting players but Neythan looking very fit and on his game was in control almost all the way through/ a comfortable win.
Huy having beat Nigel 3-0 not too long ago was surprised by Nigel’s shots in the first game. In the second Huy in control winning the second easily. Nigel was on his game though with super serving drives and drops taking the third before Huy responded strongly holding his drops and having great success to win the last two games.
Matt started off v Jack making loads of errors as Jack hit good lengths and threw in lots of great boasts. Matt though is a fighter and volleyed everything in the second forcing Jack into errors and taking the second. It was ‘business as usual’ in the third and fourth despite gallant attempts by Matt to stay in the match. Great win for Pz1 v great opponents Fal2. Good company and great food off Phil after the match. |
