| Report: | It was a fun evening of squash as Falmouth 3 took on Penzance 2, with plenty of competitive matches and good spirits throughout.
First on court, Gordon produced a superb comeback. After finding himself 2–0 down against Rob, he dug deep, shifted the momentum, and battled back to claim a hard-fought 3–2 victory.
Next up, Kai’s youthful energy proved decisive against Hatchy. Covering the court brilliantly and keeping the tempo high, Kai came through as a 3–1 winner.
Jon followed with a sharp and confident display against Eddie. Using his pace to great effect and pulling off some excellent pick-ups, he secured a convincing 3–0 win.
The final match of the night was a tight first-string battle between Sam and Tim. It was competitive throughout, but Sam had the edge on this occasion, taking the match 3–1.
Overall, it finished as a strong 14–5 win for Falmouth. Great squash and, as always, lovely company to round off the evening. |
