| Report: | falmouth were the visitors for Pirates 1st last home match of the season.. With the Pirates top of the league a strong win would be required.
Ian at no 4 soon took control against a willing Jan who covered the court really well.. Ian took the first but made to work in the next 2 games and if Jan had a drop shot that worked the result would have been a lot closer..
At 3 taron moved up from the 2nd team.. Tarons game has really gone up to another level, speed and shot making at the fore.. Taron took control and ran out a comfortable 3/0 winner..
At 2 Nigel back from injury had too much for Jon who worked and tried to compete but Nigel length and control was the difference.. Jack at 1 took on Shot maker Christian.. Jack took the match without a lot of trouble although we saw some lovely rallies during the game..
15 points for the Pirates 1st team with 2 match's to play next week and the league decider against Truro Juniors.. |
